End of XC for 2008
Well, it is all over. We had a very up and down year. UPS -some good performances, three GREAT new freshman recruits, a three-peat for Michelle, 3 girls and a guy got all FAVC, and we had a runner in Regionals.  DOWNS - Girls losing at FAVCs through no fault of their own, too many meets with out a full team, and losing our two seniors.
The awards given out were:
Leader of the Pack - Michelle Geiger and Tyler Alsip
Indian Award - Holly Schneider and Victor Dornette
Most Improved - Emily Grubb and Daniel Barber
Michelle, Tyler, Victor and Toria Alsip received Captain's pins for their leadership this year, and to bestow responsibility for next year.
The kids also got "challenge" shirts for the off season. Nice looking front and the "5:15" challenge on the back.   5 kids=15 points, 5 runs of 15 miles between seasons, minimum of 15 miles every 5 days, and there were some other interpretations. What else can"5:15" represent? That's my second challenge to the kids, what else can it mean????

There are a few of these things left, in the larger sizes of course. If anybody else wants one I will part with them at the discounted BARGAIN price of $10 each. SUCH A DEAL!!

Now it is time to get ready for track and build the strength for next year. 15 every 5 days, minimum.
No quote this time, "5:15" will have to do!
