Bethel-Tate Invitational 9/12/09

Bethel is always a nice meet, and this year it was relatively dry for change! I am a little late updating this page, but here is what I remember off the top of my head.

GIRLS:

Natalie ran well again. At a mile and a quarter she and a Mason County girl were running together in third, I told them to work together and catch the second place girl. Sounded like an plan to me!  They went behind the buildings, down the long hill, up the steep one and when they emerged 800m later Natalie had cut the gap in half, and left the Mason County girl 40 meters behind!  She never managed to catch second, but she did run her best time ever and was the first freshman to finish, ahead of the Mason County freshman that she dropped. 

Toria Alisp ran another solid race, improved her time, looks to be on target for another solid year for us.  Holly "eggs"  "ralph" Schneider wasn't feeling good, but ran gutsy and improved her time as well.
